Sour Soup 10/24/2011

Whhoowee. This is like the first week I have ever said the word "Cold" in Texas I am pretty sure. One day this week we had to wear our suit jackets out. And that day was all blustery and cold and it was so weird. And I was secretly freezing. But it was kinda fun to have a change in weather although it was somewhat drastic.

We have had some opportunities to do some work this week. Sadly there are times where the work somewhat slows down because you have to go off of other peoples' schedules. And sometimes people don't want to meet with you anymore, so that is really lame and so things don't work out. But, nonetheless it has been a very good week, I'd say.

Brother Harbour is my favorite person ever. We are going to teach him tonight. I cannot wait to get an update and teach more. Sometimes, I wonder if he is the reason I have been sent to Leander.

So we found this Cambodian couple (see above picture). They are straight up Cambodia. And they wanted us to come back and so we did. I think like 3 times this week. Anyway. They gave us some authentic Cambodian Soup. It was kinda weird but kind of alright. It was called 'Sour Soup' ... And it smelled like straight up Menudo. But I am still alive and so it was fun to try something I am totally not used to.

We are continuing to find. And trying to work with the ward and with less actives. Some times it is hard and I feel like I am not the most successful missionary out there. But I know that when I work hard and do it with Heavenly Father, everything good will come.

<3 Always,
Elder Kyle David Webb
