First off. Cliche: Happy Halloween. Even though I have always been a crazy scaredy pants, I secretly love Halloween.Great news. Yesterday we learned that Brother Harbour has set a date to be baptized! The weekned of November 19th! AHHHH! I am so happy for him! And I cannot wait for it!
The "Trunk or Treat" was this week and we stopped by. It was pretty good. All the kids were like, "You should have dressed up!" And so that was kinda funny I guess. It was so cold outside! It was kinda fun to see a little bit of Halloween interaction and celebration. We don't get to really do anything tonight. We are just going to hang out with sister West and her family. Yay! :)
We contacted this referral we got from the Gladys Knight fireside. He had been in the hospital for a while so we couldn't get a hold of him, but we met with him and I just have this feeling that he is prepared. He is somewhat handicapped, and he is just such a nice guy. He said that at Gladys he felt such a strong spirit of love. And he felt like he was finally a part of something and actually belonged. When Gladys spoke, he said it felt like she was talking to only him, that there was nobody else in the church, and what she said just hit him really hard. So we talked a lot about how God loves him so much and wants him to be happy. He also said he was wanting us to come by but we never did... So that is cool 'cause he was like waiting for us and actually wanted to be taught!
We drove up into the country kinda to go find streets to knock. But there wasn't really many 'streets' it was just random houses. But it was beautiful. The world is so cool. I think God has some pretty good taste :)
