Week 2 at the MTC

This week has been somewhat better. I'm getting more adjusted every day. Its weird because I feel like its 2 steps forward and one step back. I'm learning and making friends but then at the same time sometimes I get kinda sad and miss everybody and realize I am living in a Spiritual prison of some kind! Haha it's really not that bad, but only seeing the same brick buildings every day gets a little old! I'm excited to get out into the field! I've only been here 12 days but it feels like I've been here for months!

Uhh... I'm not sure what else to say. We have to teach "investigators" who are really our teachers. That is super stressful because we are a trio. It's hard to share the air and I feel like the other guys are focused on different things than I and they don't really look to what the investigator really needs, they just try to teach a lesson. So whenever we teach, I try to make it a point to ask questions to the person and really see into them to have the spirit help me know what they need to feel, not just to preach to them.

There was this thing on Thursday night called TRC. Its where BYU students come and we have 10 minutes with them to get to know them and teach them a mini lesson just to help strengthen them. It was really cool. I liked getting to know new people. The cool thing was that I prayed a lot before to know how to get into the hearts of those we taught. While we were getting to know this one girl I had the impression she wanted to hear about Charity. So I opened to Moroni 7:48... I'm pretty sure that's the verse. Anyway... We kept talking ya know and then I asked, "Is there anything you feel like you would want to hear about from us that would help strengthen you this week?" And she thought about it and was like ".... maybe Charity?" And I was like, "Perfecto! I have this scripture opened right here!" And I shared it with her and she loved it. I felt so good because the Spirit had used me to testify to her and strengthen her! So cool!

I like dearelder cause you can get letters the same day! Its totally amazing to get mail. (the other day I got 6 letters and I was the only one to get mail and everyone was so jealous!)

Keep me in your prayers 'cause the MTC is kind of a weird place for me! But I am enjoying it and all its glory! I love you. Don't miss me too much. And don't make me miss you too much! haha :)

<3 Always,
Elder Webb
