So apparently the Lord wants me and my companions to be zone leaders. Cause yesterday our branch president asked us to be the next zone leaders! Kinda crazy but I am excited for the opportunity. I hope my companions...and I can shape up to be the examples we need to be.
So this week was okay. Kinda up and down. Some days are fun and good and others can be somewhat hard. Satan doesn't want me here, I'll tell you that! BUT, God really does and He is helping me know that! Time has kinda slowed down. I think since we got over the hump it was like, "Okay, Elders, Let's have a little plateau and have it seem like you are never gonna get outta here!" The days are getting longer which is weird but let's blame that on a little something called Daylight savings time. I hate saving daylight!
One of the Elders in my district had to get surgery on his knee today. I guess the doctors think it's a good idea to give him surgery in the middle of his MTC experience and then have him stay here while he is in pain and dying then after when he just wants to get out to the field, send him home for 2 months. It doesn't make sense. So, he will still be here and just on bed rest and stuff and using crutches for the next like week. And then try to be normal while still healing then when we ship out to the field, he will go home for a couple months and then get sent out to Ohio after that! Kinda sad. Anyway, I am now companions with his companion...If that makes sense. So for the next few days I will have to learn how to teach with a brand new Elder and stuff! It's gonna make things a lot different but I guess the Lord has some plans in store for me if he is making all these companion changes on me! Fortunately, I really like the Elder I will be with for the next few days. And even though I will be his companion, we have to go and check up on Elder Hoole...The one who got surgery. (P.S. He is just going to be staying in the "infirmary" here at the MTC for the next few days. Pretty much just sleeping in a bed in a tiny room.)
Anyway. I love you all so much! I am blessed to have like the greatest family ever! Thanks for everything you do.
<3 Always,
Elder Webb
P.S. Also, keep me up to date on world news/current events! Aka, Japan and stuff like that, I want to know what is happening in the outside world!

Wowzers!
March 7, 2011
So first things first: I have gained 13 pounds.
Hahahahaha. Not really. I'm pretty sure everyone is gaining weight pero I am not. I may have gained like a pound. I'm eating and stuff! Don't you worry, but I just think its funny cause everyone is like, "Ahh, I've gained 10 pounds already!" However I have not because I eat healthy! Thank you for raising me right! :)
Okay now here's to the real deal: In 2 days, I will have been here for a month. Weird? Duh. I feel like I have been here for half my life but at the same time it's gone by pretty fast! It's such a time paradox! I am really glad I will be a month out though!:)
Other than that, really nothing has happened! OH WAIT! I saw Taylor Wasden! I like yelled his name and was like "WHAT THE!?" We hugged! I saw him a few more times and it was cool! I also saw one of my friends, Jeff, from BYU-I. I freaking love that kid! We were talking and he didn't even have his mission call yet but we were like, Oh let's live together after our missions! He's legit. And he is going to Baton Rouge, Lousiana. AND I saw another sister missionary friend that I sat by in Missionary Prep. She saw me and ran up and she kept yelling ELDER! Cause she couldn't remember my last name! And then I was like, "Ahh hey!" Anyway it was cool to see people I know! And I can't wait for Sam to get here!
The companionship is going good...There's like always ups and downs but whatev. Elder Johnes and I are getting closer than Elder Smith and I are...So I feel kinda bad but Elder Smith is just a lot different than we are. BUT! His is a child of God and he is serving a mission so I love him.
Well anyways. I am gonna go now. It's been a month! Not too bad, huh!? Only 23 more to go!:)

So this week was alright. It went by pretty fast so I am glad because the weeks are starting to pick up! I don't even remember all that happened. But! I am learning a lot! And I think I am getting pretty good at Spanish because a Hermana who was here for a lot of weeks taught me...for practice...one of her lessons or whatever. When she was speaking Spanish I understood most of what she said. And when she said english words that she didn't know, I knew them. so it was really cool cause I felt smart.
We had another TRC on Thrusday where we taught people. It was cool again. I feel like I can just get people to feel comfortable and make them feel special and loved. They seem to appreciate what I have to say. So I feel blessed for that gift of people skills.
My companionship is going alright. I think we are all kinda sick of each other but what do you expect?!
Oh! One cool thing that happened this week (that happened once before). So the oldest district headed out to their fields of service today. And in our zone there is a little tradition called "hasta ver". It's where all the guys in our zone get together in someone's room at night and we all sing
"God Be With You Till We Meet Again" and then someone tells the story of when Brigham Young and them shouted "Hoorah for Israel" and the we all scream that 3 times. And then someone prays and its really cool! It's cool because if just makes me think of how these are all my brothers and we are all working together to build God's kingdom, and we just rejoice in the fact that we have had the MTC experience together and wish those who are heading out into the field luck. It's really cool.
Anyway, I'm not too sure what else I can say. I am learning a lot and I'm on an adventure. It keeps hitting me that I'm gonna be doing this for 2 years. Some days are really hard or frustrating and I just want to go home, but I'm not going to come home until my work is done! Heavenly Father has never given up on me, so I'm not gonna give up on Him!
Okay! Keep me in your prayers!
Always,
Elder Webb
